My Story

I served ten years in the military, in both the Marine Corps and the Air Force. Along the way I earned a bachelor's degree in accounting in just three years, attending classes at night. That discipline and follow-through still define how I work.

FROM DESIGN TO FILM

My creative career began in New York City, where I was among the first graphic designers to bring the computer into the profession. In the late 1980s I moved to Florida and continued designing, with work published in The New York Times and in many of Miami's magazines. In the late 1990s I recognized where visual storytelling was headed, returned to school, and earned an associate's degree in video production. I ran my own video production business until COVID brought it to a close.

THEN AI CHANGED THE CAMERA

That pause became a beginning. I began exploring artificial intelligence as a filmmaking tool, and what started as curiosity has become the craft behind Twisted Eye Video: cinematic, noir-styled films built with the newest tools and grounded in decades of design, video, and life experience. Work that once required a full crew, I now produce on my own.

STORY FIRST. ALWAYS.

At heart, I am a storyteller. I am an award-winning flash fiction writer and hold a creative writing certificate from Cornell University. I bring a writer's instinct to every frame. Every image serves the story, and every story earns its ending.

STILL LEARNING. STILL CREATING.

I have never stopped learning. Today I continue my training with Curious Refuge, one of the leading AI filmmaking schools and a source of AI talent for the film industry. Twisted Eye is where it all comes together: the discipline of a veteran, the eye of a designer, the craft of a video producer, and the voice of a writer.
